I'm fundraising for a great cause!

Lifeline is Australia’s largest suicide prevention service, with a vision of an Australia free of suicide. The Lifeline network spans the nation with 41 centres in metropolitan, rural and remote areas.  There are over 10,000 volunteers and 1,000 employees working to ensure that no person in Australia has to face their darkest moments alone.

Lifeline aims to deliver digital services to Australian people in crisis, wherever they might be and in the mode in which they are most comfortable accessing support. Each year, Lifeline receives almost 1 million contacts from people in crisis.

By participating in the Hope Cycle, Tour of Australia on FulGaz, I'm raising much needed funds for Lifeline, can you help?

My Updates

Uluru - 20 August

Saturday 20th Aug
A nice start to the Hope Tour this morning. A flat ride towards Uluru in the early morning, including a section on dirt passing along the rock.

A very peaceful ride apart from my huffing and puffing!

Warm Up

Friday 19th Aug
Though I'd better check that everything was working, before the Hope Cycle starts tomorrow, so i started with a nice flat ride from Zandvoort to Katwijk in the Netherlands.

Wondered why it was so difficult riding up the small hills. Turns out I had my weight settings in what I thought were pounds but were actually kg's. I was trying to push a bike weighing 20 kgs, with a rider weighing 154 kgs. Now that i have corrected those the ride around Uluru should be more enjoyable! 😂
