Do I have to be part of a team?

add remove

No. Riding as part of a team is completely optional, you are more than welcome to ride solo and raise funds for Lifeline Australia, through your rider profile once registered.

How do teams work?

add remove

Two, three or four riders can join together to make one team. As a team you must complete all 15 stages in a 'relay' format. Ensuring each stage is only ridden once. Your team name will appear on the leaderboard rather than your individual name. If you want to ride every stage, please register as a solo rider instead.

Will there be prizes and incentives for participants?

add remove

Yes absolutely! Although this challenge is not a race, we are encouraging entrants to raise as much money as possible for Lifeline Australia. So set your personal and / or team goals along the way and receive awards as part of hitting these milestones. We also have great prizes and incentives for social media posts and engagement and the most money raised as an individual and as a team.

I have registered to participate, but can no longer do so. Can I get a refund?

add remove

If you have registered before midnight, Monday 15 August, 2022 you may cancel your ticket and receive a full refund. After the 15th August you may either transfer your registration to another rider, or receive 50% refund.

Last minute cancellations within 48 hours of the event commencement date and time will not be accepted or refunded.

Before requesting a cancellation, remember that 100% of your entry fee will be donated to Lifeline Australia.

Why is Lifeline Australia as your chosen charity partner?

add remove

Lifeline is Australia’s largest suicide prevention service, with a vision of an Australia free of suicide. The Lifeline network spans the nation with 41 centres in metropolitan, rural and remote areas.  There are over 10,000 volunteers and 1,000 employees working to ensure that no person in Australia has to face their darkest moments alone.

Lifeline aims to deliver digital services to Australian people in crisis, wherever they might be and in the mode in which they are most comfortable accessing support. Each year, Lifeline receives almost 1 million contacts from people in crisis.  Someone in Australia calls 13 11 14 every 30 second

Since 2020 we have raised a staggering $240,000 for Lifeline. From this success the idea of the Hope Cycle, Tour of Australia was born. It is a Lifeline owned, signature fundraising event which with your support will live on for many years to come.
